Exclusive Unreleased TJT Mixes
By DJ Useo
As far as I'm concerned, TJT is one of the best home producers on Earth. I followed his work at the Beatles Remixers Group
( www.tapatalk.com/groups/beatlesremixers/ ) until I was quite familiar with his slick bootleg remixes, & mashups. As often occurs, he was drawn into other pursuits, eventually, while still leaving a completely satisfying TJT discography.
Recently, TJT & I were corresponding, & he offered me the use of 2 discs of unreleased TJT exclusives. For me, that's like extra icing on a cake you already love, so I arranged them into two podcasts that are now available for streaming, & downloading. You know, the usual. :)
The first set is "DJ Useo - God's Calendar For Israel by TJT Podcast" & presents TJT's concept to full benefit.
( hearthis.at/vxmfxz7w/01-dj-useo-gods-calendar-for-israel-by-tjt-podcast/ )
The follow-up set is called "DJ Useo - The Times Of The Gentiles by TJT Podcast" & adapts a similar theme throughout.
( hearthis.at/vxmfxz7w/02-dj-useo-the-times-of-the-gentiles-by-tjt-podcast/ )
The content can be viewed from many perspectives, & extends the depth of the listening experience. You'll quickly discover TJT brings all the dj tools to each track, resulting in a freshening of already accomplished content. I personally found that the more I played them, the more I got from them.
I reckon future TJT mixes will be made, but few if any will be posted for the public. This is often the way with audio bootleggers, as I know many who tell of large files the public will never experience. Try these new TJT mixes loud, & tonight. Catch y'all soon.

Paul Krugman: How Trump Got Trickled Down (NY Times Column)
The question now is whether Trump will pay any price for betraying all his promises. Democrats took the House in 2018 largely because of the popular backlash against his attempt to destroy Obamacare. But there's a real danger that Democrats will blow the election by making it a referendum on ambitious ideas like so-called Medicare for all that are unlikely to become reality, rather than on Trump's ongoing efforts to destroy programs Americans love.
Andrew Tobias: You're Paying $650 A Night; And $1 Trillion For 2.3% Growth
The economy grew 2.3% last year. It is on this decent if far from spectacular performance that the impeached unindicted felon hopes to win Electoral College re-election. (A million and a half fewer jobs were created in Trump's first three years than in Obama's last three.) And Trump has borrowed massively. In good times, no less - when the debt should be shrinking relative to the economy as a whole. And recklessly - because the borrowing was to enrich the already rich, not invest in infrastructure.

During the 2016 campaign, Trump told voters that - if he was elected - he would not have time for travel. "I would rarely leave the White House because there's so much work to be done," Trump told the Hill in a June 2015 interview. […] But since taking office, Trump has spent more than 342 days - a third of his entire presidency - at his private clubs and hotels.
Aaron Rupar: Trump vowed to not cut Social Security and Medicare - hours before proposing just that (Vox)
President Donald Trump posted a tweet on Saturday vowing, "We will not be touching your Social Security and Medicare in Fiscal 2021 Budget." One day later, the Wall Street Journal published a report indicating that Trump is doing exactly that with his budget proposal. The Journal's report, which came a day ahead of the administration officially releasing its budget on Monday, indicates that Trump's $4.8 trillion budget includes "steep reductions in social-safety-net programs," including cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security disability programs:

Anecdotes
• The famous cellist Pablo Casals went to a physician who had attended President Eisenhower. Mr. Casals congratulated him, saying that the physician was a very famous man. The doctor humbly replied that he would never be as famous as Mr. Casals. Mr. Casals thought a moment, and then admitted, "That's true."
• Lieder singer Lotte Lehmann's chauffeur, whose name was Fritz, was an unlikely celebrity; however, he was proud when a newspaper published a photograph of himself and an operatic notable. The caption of the photograph identified the people depicted as two "notabilities."

Gets New Title
'Birds of Prey'
Birds of Prey's first weekend wasn't exactly Fantabulous at the box office. The DC film opened below expectations with just $33 million domestically, having been projected to earn $50-55 million in its opening weekend. There are a few possible reasons for this: Perhaps the film's R rating shut out younger viewers, or maybe everyone just wanted to stay home and watch the Oscars this past weekend (okay, that definitely wasn't it).
But it seems distributor Warner Bros. has a theory of its own: Potential viewers must not be aware that Birds of Prey focuses on Margot Robbie's Harley Quinn. Well, the studio has now taken steps to make that loud and clear…or rather, louder and clearer. Though the film's official title is Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), take a look at the listings for your local multiplex and you'll see something slightly different: Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey. AMC, Regal, and Cinemark's websites all currently display this title for the film.
While it's not confirmed that the movie's underwhelming box office numbers motivated this change, it's safe to assume they had something to do with it, as it's rare for a film's listed title to change post-release. (Representatives for Warner Bros. did not immediately respond to EW's request for comment.) Birds of Prey has earned $46 million internationally for a worldwide total of $79 million so far, against a reported $82 million budget. It's estimated that the film will need to gross $250-300 million worldwide to break even.

Dying Words
Kirk Douglas
Kirk Douglas used his dying words to endorse Michael Bloomberg for president, according to his son, Michael Douglas.
The younger Douglas appeared at a Bloomberg campaign rally in Madison, Wisconsin on Saturday, just a few days after his father's death.
Footage of the event posted on the Instagram account for Bloomberg's campaign shows Douglas thanking the crowd for "your thoughts and your prayers and your good wishes about my dad".
"I don't know if he was pulling my leg or not, but one of the last words that he said in the hospital - when he came and he saw me, [he] asked me to lean over closely," Douglas said.
He continued: "And I leaned over closely and he looked at me and said: 'Mike can get it done.'"

Israel Oath
Georgia
A documentary filmmaker who refused to sign Georgia's required oath involving Israel is suing the state, saying the law is in violation of free speech rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.
A Georgia law passed in 2016 requires some people to sign an oath pledging not to boycott the Israeli government in order to do business in the state.
In her federal lawsuit, Abby Martin says she refused to sign the oath, and her scheduled appearance this month at a Georgia Southern University media conference was then cancelled.
Martin was to be paid a $1,000 honorarium plus expenses to be the keynote speaker for the 2020 International Critical Media Literacy Conference. So university officials asked her to sign a "Memorandum of Agreement" which stated: "You certify that you are not currently engaged in, and agree for the duration of this agreement not to engage in, a boycott of Israel."
After Martin refused to sign, the university prevented her from speaking and the entire conference was cancelled, the lawsuit states.

Raised Prices

Going to a Disney park has always been an expensive vacation, but ticket increases at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World will have you scrimping and saving for a little while longer.
Back in 2019, Disneyland increased their park ticket prices by over 10 percent, according to Walt Disney World News Today (WDW News), ahead of the opening Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Now, with a brand new Marvel Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure opening soon, both parks are hiking up prices again.
According to WDW News, Disneyland in Anaheim, California, is increasing its prices again - with the most expensive one-day park hopper ticket costing over $200 for the first time ever. One-day ticket prices have increased by three percent for peak day tickets as well as an increase of three to five percent for one-day park hopper tickets, WDW News reported. Tier 1 price remains unchanged at $104.
In addition, the old three-tier system (Value, Regular, and Peak prices) has changed to a slightly more complicated five-tier system. Depending on which day you decided to go to the park, it could cost anywhere between $159 and $209. The only way to find out how much your ticket will cost is to visit the Disneyland website. Multi-day passes have similarly changed as well, with an increase of $10 to $20 per person, depending on which pass you purchase, a range of three to six percent, according to WDW News.

CIA Controlled Global Company
Encryption
The Swiss government has ordered an inquiry into a global encryption company based in Zug following revelations it was owned and controlled for decades by US and German intelligence.
Encryption weaknesses added to products sold by Crypto AG allowed the CIA and its German counterpart, the BND, to eavesdrop on adversaries and allies alike while earning million of dollars from the sales, according the Washington Post and the German public broadcaster ZDF, based on the agencies' internal histories of the intelligence operation.
"It was the intelligence coup of the century," the CIA report concluded. "Foreign governments were paying good money to the US and West Germany for the privilege of having their most secret communications read by at least two (and possibly as many as five or six) foreign countries." The mention of five or six countries is probably a reference to the Five Eyes electronic intelligence sharing agreement between the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.
The operation, codenamed Thesaurus and then renamed Rubicon in 1980s, demonstrated the overwhelming intelligence value of being able to insert flaws into widely sold communications equipment. The CIA's success over many years is likely to reinforce current US suspicions of equipment made by the Chinese company Huawei.
Neither China or the Soviet Union bought Crypto encryption devices, suspicious of the company's origins, but it was sold to more than 100 other countries.

'People Who Wash Dishes'
Mar-a-Lago
Housing Secretary Ben Carson (R-Insipid) said because non-white workers at President Trump (R-Fat Ass)'s Mar-a-Lago resort "love him," that proves the president is not a racist.
"He's a man who is deeply driven by a sense of kindness and compassion," Carson said. "You know, talking to the people who drive the cars and park the cars at Mar-a-Lago, they love him - the people who wash the dishes - because he's kind and compassionate."
Carson made the remarks while introducing Trump on Friday at the Opportunity Now Summit in North Carolina. The president was there to speak about a tax incentives program meant to spur investments in underserved areas, which were designated Opportunity Zones by the 2017 tax cut bill.
Carson continued his praise of the president, touting Trump's inclusiveness: "When he bought Mar-a-Lago, he was the one who fought for Jews and blacks to be included in the clubs that were trying to exclude them," Carson said.
In 2016, Trump received 18 percent of the non-white vote, according to exit polls, and a recent Washington Post-Ipsos poll showed "more than 8 in 10 black Americans say they believe Trump is a racist and that he has made racism a bigger problem in the country. Nine in 10 disapprove of his job performance overall."

Piano Unsalvageable
F278 Fazioli
Canadian virtuoso Angela Hewitt is grieving the loss of her rare, expensive grand piano, which she called her "best friend" in a Facebook post Saturday, after movers dropped it late last month.
Devastated by the loss, the well-known classical pianist wrote that "It happened ten days ago, and has been such a shock to me that I didn't immediately want to share it with the world."
The destroyed instrument, a Fazioli concert piano, played its final tune at one of Hewitt's recording sessions in Berlin for an upcoming album of Beethoven variations, which is set for release in November.
The piano, which according to CNN was estimated to be worth $194,000, was not salvageable after the accident. Fazioli Pianos founder, Paolo Fazioli, himself inspected the damage along with his team. What he found was that the fall broke the instrument's iron frame, the lid and many parts of the internal structure, rendering it a lost cause.
She added that the handmade F278 Fazioli was the only one in the world to have four pedals, a feature normally reserved for the F308 model, and that she had recently replaced its hammers and strings.
